Statutory Accounts

Every company has a legal obligation to prepare company accounts that comply with Companies Act and UK Accounting Standards. These are also called company year-end accounts and must be submitted with Companies House within 9 months of the end of the year.

Depending on the nature of your business, you may or may not need to have your accounts audited. We will take all necessary steps to create year-end accounts for your company that comply with your reporting obligations.

There are penalties for the late filing of accounts with Companies House.

Penalties for late filing Penalty (for private limited companies)
Up to 1 month £150
1 to 3 months £375
3 to 6 months £750
More than 6 months £1,500
